Seahawks 34 49ers 0
Seahawks are 3-0
Lets bring the trophy to Seattle

We go on vacation for a week Wednesday. It is needed. I plan to sleep until I get up on Thursday. Hopefully noon.

I am still having a difficult time dealing with the secrecy over why Linda Bond resigned. Its like if we ignore it did not happen. The bear is in the room but we pretend it is not there. It makes some noise so we turn up the volume. We then build a room to house the bear. Mostly we build a wall around it so we act as if its not there. We go about our business walking around the bear ignoring its existence. If this is SOP then eventually the house is full of bears. Then the bears will tear the house apart.

Bill - I don't know the the first thing about Seahawks - but I am begining to share your enthusiasm!!

I worked with Linda Bond when she was at IHQ for a while - I'm stumped whatever her reasoning you can bet she's had it well thought through. I agree the rumour thing is a dangerous animal - we're suffering a little in the UKT with the same regarding what our TC has or hasn't said - it wears me out.

Hi, Bill!

I think we all comtemplate as to why Linda Bond resigned for "personal reasons" and what those reasons might be. The silence at the top seems to be deafening, but I think of it it terms of any person who leaves the employ of any organization. The person has a right to his/her privacy even though we feel it would help us cope better. I suspect if anyone of us chose to leave the ranks of officership, we would not want the whole world to know "why" unless we chose to tell?

I believe we have to deal with the matter in our own way, but the silence could lead us to believe either good or bad things happened, which is where we are at right now.

I think we should pray for Linda Bond and The Salvation Army. Those who close to her either don't seem to know what led to her resignation, and those who know certainly aren't talking.

What is difficult is that one isn't left to share with her personally how her resignation may have affected their lives?

God bless you, Bill!

I think the Bonds are going through some trauma, that needs their digestion in private. In time all things will. be clear. Let's pray and trust God to solace, heal and comfort Linda and family and respect that time and process to be.

I sent her a letter delivered personaly in Singapore, April 2014, which I believe was at the unction of the Holy Spirit, urging her to restore the Preeminece of the Holy Spirit, its baptism and its continual infilling, as Mrs Booth did urge in her article on Agressive Christianity.
To put the axe to the rot of those surrounding the General's office who were a form of godliness but denying the power thereof!
More if you request by email.

Weeks later came her resignation.
